Prayer Shawl Ministry
“Made with praying hands and blessed by loving hearts”
CPUMC Prayer Shawl Ministry is a group of knitters and crocheters that religiously meets at Colonial Park United Methodist Church every Tuesday, 1-3 pm. We make prayer shawls for someone in need of healing of heart, soul, body, and spirit. While we are knitting or crocheting, we silently add prayers and love to the yarn so when the shawl is used they will feel the warmth and love of God. When we are asked for a shawl, we choose one especially for that person. We gather around the shawl and place our hands upon it and say a special prayer for that person.
Our ministry is open to anyone that loves to knit or crochet. Come join the fellowship.
