Our ministry is dedicated to providing a welcoming and positive atmosphere where people of all ages can be active, learn new skills, develop friendships, and enjoy participating in sports and recreation. YOUTH SPORTS
Colonial Park’s Youth Sports and Recreation program strives for a fun and positive atmosphere where each participant learns fundamentals, develops skills, learns team play, teamwork and sportsmanship. All are welcome in our program!
Our youth teams participate in church recreation leagues that promote a wholesome environment that assures a spirit of fair play and sportsmanship and honors Jesus Christ through prayer, healthy competition, and sports fellowship. Each player plays at least 50% of each game.
Colonial Park has a gym for basketball, pickleball, volleyball and other activities as well as a field and backstop for outdoor sports.
Fall Soccer Dates
· Registration Ends – August 10

· Fall Break – October 7 (No Games)
· Season Ends – End of October
Age Divisions
· Age determined by using current grade and age as of June 1, 2023.
o Co-Ed Junior Kindergarten (Age 4) (4 v 4 without a goalie)
o Co-Ed Senior Kindergarten (5 v 5 with a goalie)
o 1st and 2nd Grade Boys (6 v 6)
o 1st and 2nd Grade Girls (6 v 6)
Practices and Games
Each team will practice one night a week at Colonial Park. Some teams may practice on Saturdays until the games begin. The practice day and time will be determined by the coach’s schedule and the field schedule. Games will be played at Colonial Park or at other church fields in the league. Regular season games will be scheduled on Saturdays with some weeknight games possible.
Basketball season is just around the corner and registration is now open! Colonial Park will offer basketball for Boys & Girls from Kindergarten through 12th Grade. Sign up today!

ADULT RECREATION AND WELLNESS
Colonial Park has a gym for basketball, pickleball, volleyball, fitness classes and other recreation activities. We have two additional spaces for fitness and health classes and a small field for outdoor activities.

Class Fee: $5.00
Are you over 50 and looking to become stronger, more fit and better able to move in your daily life?? This class will include some cardio followed by resistance training using light hand weights and resistance bands and ending with 10 minutes of stretching. This class is scalable for all fitness levels from beginner to experienced. Modifications will be offered for people with pre-existing injuries or limitations.
It’s never too late to improve your fitness. Strength training helps improve bone density and quality of life as we age. Come join us for a motivating and fun class!

Our yoga classes are open to all levels of fitness. No yoga experience necessary. Come to experience the benefits of reducing stress, improved range of motion and increased flexibility and strength. Work on correcting postural alignment and balance. We also encourage deep breathing and relaxation.
